Basic concept and knowledge of offset printing and post-press machinery.
Knowledge of mechanical/Electrical Components/ parts of machinery.
Types of Compressor and its Functions, its repair and maintenance.
Conversant with different types of tools and equipment and it uses
Different types of lubricating oil and its uses in different machines
Knowledge of breakdown of machinery i.e. its problems and solution mounting of blades etc.
Knowledge on the breakdown of machinery i.e. the nature of the defect and its remedy
Machine lubrication, roller setting, damp from roller setting-problem and its solution
Dealing with cutting machines i.e its problems and solution, mounting of blades, etc.
Knowledge of electrical system of expense machine, nature of the defect, and its remedy.
Periodical preventive maintenance
The purpose of the test is to assess the mental abilities of the candidate. Overall, this is an assessment of not only the intellectual qualities of the candidate but also of social characteristics and interest in current affairs, mental alertness, and critical powers of assimilation, care and logical exposure, the balance of judgment, variety, and depth of interest.
