Essential:
Post Graduate degree in Physics; or Chemistry; or BE/ B.Tech in Mechanical/ Chemical/ Nuclear Engineering/ Reactor Engineering.
Desirable:
Persons with M.Phil., Ph.D., additional qualification, research experience in the relevant field would be preferred, Ph.D. from the reputed university shall be given additional weightage. |
Consultant - Grade-II (International Cooperation) |
Essential:
Master's degree in the field of Science disaster Management/ Two years PG Diploma in Disaster Management or any other related discipline. However. preference will be given to persons having a Master's Degree in International Relation/Cooperation or related fields. The candidate should have proven writing skills in English
Desirable:
Applicants with M.phil. Ph.D., Research Experience, Published Papers, and post qualification experience in the field of Community-related disaster management would be preferred. |
Consultant-Grade-II (Mock exercises & Incident Response System) |
Essential:
Candidate should in a possession of Master's Degree in Disaster Management/related field Or Retired Govemment employee with Grade Pay oi.Rs. 8900 (pre-revised)/ Level-I3 A (7th CPC) and above with minimum experience of l0 years in the relevant field. Candidates with experience in handling disaster situations would be preferred.
Desirable:
M.Phil or Ph.D. in Disaster Management or related field. |
Consultant-Grade-II (Community Based Disaster Risk Reduction) |
Essential:
Master Degree in Science/ Social Science/ Disaster Management/ Two years Diploma in Disaster Management.
Desirable:
An applicant with M.Phil., Ph.D., Research Experience, Published Papers, and post qualification experience in the field of Community-related disaster Management would be preferred. |
Consultant-Grade-I/ Grade-II (Earthquake and Tsunami) |
Essential:
Master in Technology/ Engineering in Structural/ Earthquake Engineering.
Persons with Post Graduate qualification in Civil Engineering, Seismology, Urban Planning, Architecture, Geography, and Geology will also be considered if accompanied by proven expertise and experience in Earthquake and Tsunami Risk Reduction.
Desirable:
M. Phil, Ph.D. additional qualification, research experience, published papers with adequate post qualification experience in the relevant field. |
Consultant Grade-I/II (Cyclone) |
Essential:
(i) Master's Degree in Civil engineering/ Climatology/ Meteorology/ Coastal Engineering/ Ocean Engineering/ Oceanography.
(ii) Experience in the area of Disaster Risk Reduction related to Cyclone and Coastal management is required.
Desirable:
Persons with M.Phil, Ph.D. additional qualification, research experience, published papers with adequate post qualification experience in the relevant field would be preferred, Ph.D. from the reputed university shall be given additional weightage |

Essential:

1. Candidates should have 10 years & above post qualification experience in the relevant field
2. Should have a thorough knowledge of India's nuclear program in addition to knowledge of various applications on the utilization of radioisotopes.
3. Should be well versed with the recommendations of the AERB, DAE. NPCIL, ICRP, IAEA, and other related bodies on the radiation-related issues viz. Radiation protection, dose limits. safety codes and guides etc.
4. Retired Govt. employees with Grade pay Rs. 10,000/- (Level l4 or equivalent in the pay matrix of 7th CPC) with experience in a relevant field would also be eligible |
Consultant - Grade-II (International Cooperation) |
1. The candidates should have a minimum post qualification experience of Sevan years (for Ph.D. and M.Phil. - Four and Five years post qualification experience respectively);
2. Should have sound experience in dealing with International Relations/ co-operation and also in Disaster Risk Reduction; and
3. Should have working experience in cross-functional teams.
For Govt. Servants_
Retired Government Servants in Scale 12 (as per Seventh CPF) and above with 5 years experience in International Relations/ Cooperation and Disaster Management. |
Consultant-Grade-II (Mock exercises & Incident Response System) |
Essential:
1. Minimum 7 years post qualification experience in response and relief operations during disasters, coordinating and managing first responders, and DM related training both at policy and field level.
2. Minimum experience of 3 years for candidates with Ph.D. and M.Phil Degrees.
3. Retired Government employees must have 10 years of experience in the relevant field.
Desirable:
(i) Course Coordinator/ Instructional abilities.
(ii) Knowledge of international best practices in disaster Management
(iii) Experience of preparing guidelines, manuals and SOPs.
(iv) Experience of conducting workshops and seminars at Central and State Government level. |
