Application Fees

Preliminary Exam Fee:

For General category and candidates belonging to Category-IIA/ IIB/ IIIA/ IIIB shall remit fee – Rs.500/-
For SC/ ST/ Category -I candidates shall remit fee – Rs. 250/-

Mains Exam Fee:

Candidates who are successful in the Prelims will be eligible for the Mains Exam. Those candidates are expected to pay the following Application Fee.

For the General category and candidates belonging to Category-IIA/IIB/IIIA/IIIB shall remit fee – Rs. 1000/-
For SC/ ST/ Category -I candidates shall remit fee – Rs. 500/-

Pay the Examination Fee as per the notified payment mode. (Net banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card/ UPI/ Challan/ Demand Draft)

On the Basis of Recruitment	Qualifications
Direct Recruitment	Must be a holder of a degree in Law granted by a University established by Law in India and must have been enrolled as an Advocate.
Recruitment of In-Service Candidates	Must be the holder of a degree in Law granted by a University established by Law in India. All In-service candidates having required qualifications working in the High Court and in the District Judiciary irrespective of their cadres are also eligible.

Age Limit

On the Basis of Recruitment	Age Limit
Direct Recruitment	38 years for candidates belonging to SC/ ST categories, and 35 Years in case of others 3 years are considered as relaxation for Ex-Servicemen candidates.
Recruitment of In-Service Candidates	43 years for candidates belonging to SC/ ST categories, and 40 years in the case of others.
