Educational Qualification

i. A Cat “B” Hydrographer /SR-1 from a IHO Certified Institute OR B.Tech (Civil Engg.) / B.Tech (Survey Engg.) OR Associate Member of Institution of Surveyors in Subdivision I (B).

ii. Minimum post qualification, experience of 15 years in conducting Hydrographic Survey, investigation and measurements. Bathymetric Surveys (as per SP 44 standards), Topographic Survey in a variety of Geographical locations. Experience in waterways/port/river mapping with proficiency in using the GIS Software working knowledge, Spatial data formats and related metadata issues Working knowledge on S-57 data and ENC.Working knowledge of web mapping applications such as Google Earth, Bhuvan. Caris GIs etc.
