Assistant Supdt. of Fisheries	i. Masters Degree in Fisheries Science or Bachelor’s Degree in Fisheries Science or Post Graduate Diploma in Fisheries failing which Master’s Degree in Marine Science/ Zoology/ Marine Biology from a recognized University ii. Knowledge of Konkani Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi
Bosun	i. Second Hand Fishing Mates ticket issued by Mercantile Marine Department, failing which, two years Vessel Navigation Course in the Central Institute of Fisheries Nautical and Engineering Training, Cochin, failing which, six months Fisheries Training Course and second class Master Course conducted by Captain of Ports. ii. At least 05 years of experience on a fishing vessel. iii. Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: 1) Secondary School Certificate Examination or Equivalent. 2) Knowledge of Marathi.
Fisheries Officer	i. Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Higher Secondary School Certificate in Science from a recognized University/ Institution. ii. Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: 1) Successful completion of training as recognized by Fishermen Training Centre under State Government. 2) Knowledge of Marathi
Junior Technician	i) Bachelor’s Degree in Fisheries Science or Bachelor of Science with Post Graduate Diploma in Fisheries or Bachelor of Science with Zoology/ Botany from a recognized University ii) Knowledge of Konkani Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi
Laboratory Assistant	i. Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Chemistry or Zoology from a recognized University. ii. Knowledge of Konkani Desirable: i) Knowledge of Marathi ii) Two years experience in Laboratory work related to water and soil analysis.
Fisheries Surveyor	i. Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Higher Secondary School Certificate in Science from a recognized University/ Institution. ii. Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: 1) Successful completion of training as recognized by Fishermen Training Centre under State Government. 2) Knowledge of Marathi
L.D.C.	1) Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution. 2) Should be computer literate. 3) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi
Junior Deckhand	i) Passed Secondary School Certificate Examination from a recognized Board/ Institution. OR Successfully completed the course conducted by a recognized Industrial Training Institute or equivalent, in relevant trade ii) Six months training course in Fisheries Training Centre preferably with experience on a fishing vessel or Certificate from Maritimes School Britona or any other recognized Institute. iii) Knowledge of swimming and two years of seagoing experience. iv) Should be physically strong with good eyesight and a sense of hearing. v) Knowledge of Konkani Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
Fieldman	i) Passed Secondary School Certificate Examination from a recognized Board/ Institution. OR Successfully completed the course conducted by a recognized Industrial Training Institute or equivalent, in relevant trade ii) Six months Fisheries Training course Centre Course. iii) Knowledge of swimming iv) Knowledge of Konkani Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi

Age Limit

The age limit should not exceed 45 years for all the posts as on date of advertisement
