A post-graduate qualification e.g. M.D./ M.S./ M.D.S. or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/ subject. M.Ch. for surgical super-specialties and D.M. for Medical super specialties (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto Experience: Fourteen years of teaching and/ or research experience in M.D./ M.S./ M.D.S. or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. (or) Twelve years of teaching and/ or research experience in g the qualifying degree of M.Ch./D.M. (2 years or 5 years course recognized after MBBS) in the respective discipline/ subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. (or) Eleven years of teaching and/ or research experience in D.M/ M.Ch in the respective discipline/ subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto Essential for Non-Medical Candidates: (Limited to Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, and Pharmacology) Post Graduate qualification e.g. Master’s Degree in the discipline/ allied subject. A Doctorate degree from a recognized University in the concerned discipline. Experience: Fourteen years of teaching, and/ or Research experience in the discipline/ subject concerned after obtaining the Doctorate Degree.

(or) No experience is required for the candidate possessing 3 years of recognized degree D.M./ M.Ch Essential for Non-Medical Candidates (Limited to Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, and Pharmacology) Post Graduate qualification e.g. Master’s Degree in the discipline/ allied subject A Doctorate degree from a recognized University in concerned discipline. Experience: Three years of teaching, and /or research experience in the discipline/ subject concerned after obtaining the Doctorate Degree.

Educational Qualifications for Non-Medical candidates (as applicable)

Master’s Degree in the concerned specialty as under:
Anatomy: Human Anatomy
Biochemistry: Medical Biochemistry/ Biochemistry
Physiology: Medical Physiology/ Physiology
Pharmacology: Medical Pharmacology/ Pharmacology
A Doctorate Degree in the concerned subject from a “Recognized University”
